Porcupine Township offers special catering and event organisation for all sorts of groups. We will discuss special rates and give special attention for your group needs.

PORCUPINE TOWNSHIP DISCOVERY TOURS
  Whistle Stop Tour
    These are suitable for either a morning or afternoon visit as the tours are of approximately one hour's duration.

Visitors are free to explore the unique township and the original diggings at their own pace. Our staff are on hand to provide information and answer questions.

Refreshments are available from the licensed Forty Feet Restaurant,  but these are not included in price of admission and you will need to make a booking.

  Township and Tea Tour
    These tours are of approximately three hours duration, and are suitable for either a morning or afternoon visit.

Visitors are given a tour of Porcupine Township in our motorised train and carriage. History and legend abound in the colourful commentary, adding to the unique atmosphere of this authentic goldmining town.

Following Devonshire Tea in the licensed Forty Feet Restaurant, visitors can stroll around Porcupine Township at their own pace, exploring the fascinating world of an 1860s goldmining town and diggings.

  Lunch and Longer
    The duration of this tour is approximately 2 1/2 hours.

An informative and colourful tour of Porcupine Township in our motorised train and carriage with a two-course lunch to follow in the licensed Forty Feet Restaurant. Our visitors regularly comment on the outstanding quality of the meal. During lunch our guests will be entertained by Alan Stere.

Visitors are invited to take a post lunch stroll around Porcupine Township and diggings at their own pace.

  School Groups
    This tour provides a ride in our motorised train and a guided walking tour of Porcupine Township and goldpanning, provided there are not drought conditions.

A picnic area is available if the students would like to lunch prior or after their tour.

Teachers and Supervisors are given a complimentary admission.

CHRISTMAS FUNCTIONS
  One of the highlights of the year is Christmas at Porcupine
    Restaurant at Porcupine TownshipWithout the hectic commercial focus of the usual Christmas period, we present some of the most treasured traditional festivities and activities: Christmas trees, Christmas music, Father Christmas and a superb Christmas dinner with all the trimmings. All very enjoyable in our early goldfields settings.

Porcupine Township can help your group or club to design a day to remember. Together, we can design a unique and enjoyable experience.

Accommodation can also be provided in our cottages and terrace style units, and our range of packages can be modified to include Christmas celebrations.
