| WHERE IS MALDON | |
| Maldon is approximately 150 Km
from Melbourne and approximately one and a half hours
drive. The easy drive to Maldon is mostly on the four
lane Calder Freeway until the turn-off to Castlemaine
at the little village of Elphinstone. The remainder of the drive is well signed as you travel down the Pyrenees Highway, continue through Castlemaine, then turn down the Maldon-Castlemaine Road and continue on to the historic town of Maldon. |

| WHERE IS PORCUPINE TOWNSHIP | |
| The road to Porcupine Township is
a continuation of Main Street in Maldon and is
approximately 2 Km along the Maldon-Bendigo Road. You
will pass the historic Maldon Railway Station on the
left, cross the railway line and Porcupine Township is
further down the road on your left hand side. If you are coming from Bendigo along the Maldon - Bendigo Road, as you approach Maldon you will pass the Gold Dredge on the right hand side. Porcupine Township can then be seen immediately after that on the right hand side. |
